What a commission sale is
If you want to sell a car, we have three paths: a buy-out, a trade-in and a commission sale. With a commission sale we run the ad, the viewings and the papers. The buyer buys the car from us, not directly from you. We sell the car in our name, for your account. The same arrangement is also called a brokered sale.
How to sell your car with us
The start is quick. One call, one viewing in Celje, a contract. The sale itself waits until a buyer is found. We do not promise a deadline.
- Call. Tell us the make, model, year, mileage and where the car is.
- A viewing at Cesta na Dobrovo 1. Together we set the car’s selling price and sign the commission contract.
- The document and the car stay with us. Details are under Registration.
- The ad and the buyers. We publish the ad on our Avto.net listing. We take the calls, the viewings and the papers.
- The close. The buyer buys the car from us. We can prepare leasing or credit for that buyer with NLB Leasing, DBS Leasing, NLB Buy&Go or GB Leasing. Approval is always the financier’s. You receive the agreed sum when the sale is closed.
The registration certificate
You leave the registration certificate with us. It stays at Avtocenter Mića until the sale. For that time the car stays with us and is not driven, so the document and the condition stay together.
Commission
The commission is a fixed amount. We agree it before you sign anything.
Buy-out or commission sale
With a buy-out we buy the car from you. We agree the deal and pay you in Celje. The money does not wait for another buyer. The price is an offer based on condition and the market. A commission sale makes sense when you can wait for a buyer and you do not want to place the ad, take the calls and run the viewings yourself.
We do not promise a higher price, and we do not promise the car will sell in a set number of days. We say what is realistic for that car.
